When does this happen?
If hot water suddenly stops working throughout the apartment, the gas meter outside may have tripped and needs to be reset.
給湯器がONになっているにも関わらずお湯が出ない場合は、ガスメーターが遮断されている可能性があります。

Reset Steps

1Go to the gas meter outside — it is located to the right of the entrance door. 玄関向かって右側にガスメーターがあります。

2Find the red reset button (復帰ボタン) on the meter. メーター上の赤い復帰ボタンを探してください。

3Press and hold the button for about 3 seconds until the indicator light changes. ボタンを約3秒間長押ししてください。

4Wait about 3 minutes, then check if hot water has been restored. 約3分待ってからお湯が出るか確認してください。
If you smell gas, do NOT press the reset button. Leave the apartment immediately and call 0570-002-299 (Osaka Gas emergency).
